Love the look and the mission

I finally treated myself to a watch that cost more than $30…much as I resisted. The rose gold with the metallic green face caught my attention though, and my birthday was coming, so…I ordered it. I love the way it looks and the bonus of a second (woven) band made it a bit less indulgent. One criticism was that adjusting the band was baffling to me. In the process the clamp slid off the band and I spent a lot of time trying to fix it…couldn’t tell whether I had it upside down. I ended up pleading ineptitude and took it to my local jeweler who set it straight. Granted, I’m not great at interpreting sketches, but I do appreciate my jeweler! Now I snap it on and simply admire it (and accept the compliments). The social responsibility of the company also helped seal the deal and calm my guilt over my relative extravagance.
