Strawberry Thief

The Strawberry Thief print designed in 1883, was inspired by Morris' life in the countryside. Morris' is known for recreating his surroundings, and this is no exception, this time, the spark came as he watched birds steal his strawberries from under the fruit nets in his home kitchen at Kelmscott Manor. Today, decades later, the Strawberry Thief print is still one of the all-time favourite William Morris designs.

Watch not working
The watch is beautiful and arrived just for Christmas so that was great but doesn’t work unfortunately. I will bring it to a jeweller to see if a battery change can help but I’m disappointed.

perlon strap
I'd give the Strawberry Thief (fennel) watch 5 stars if it weren't for the perlon strap, that came apart at the tip after only a few months. I ended up buying a new strap for it. Apart from that, a beautiful watch that keeps good time.
